It’s official, Tsugaru Strait (Japan) has been successfully crossed by Wexford Masters relay team of James O’Connor, Peter Bolger, Enda Sinnott, Saskia Dodebier, Denise Underwood & Sandra Goldsmith. It was accomplished in 16h 37m 45s covering a distance of 45.80km.

This is number four of the Oceans 7 Challenge completed by this team. It has also been confirmed that the team is the first Irish relay team to have successfully crossed the Tsugaru Strait.

Well done team! Tough going but you did it! Enjoy the well deserved celebrations!
